About The Do's & Don'ts

The Do's & Don'ts are one of Iowa's longest-running and most celebrated live rock and roll bands, performing the greatest hits of the 1950s and 1960s for audiences across Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Marion, Coralville, Sutliff, Solon, Shueyville, Walford and communities throughout Eastern Iowa.

Originally known as The Escorts, the band was founded in 1959 by Dick Sherman in Ely, Iowa. In 1997, they were inducted into the Iowa Rock 'n' Roll Music Association Hall of Fame — one of the first bands ever honored with that distinction. Their 1966 single I Wonder If She Loves Me was released on the Red Bird Record Label and remains a fan favorite to this day.
